Welcome to AETE on the Web.
The Academy for Evangelism in Theological Education was founded in 1973 to resource, encourage, and support professors who teach evangelism in seminaries, theological schools, and universities. The academy holds a yearly meeting that serves to explore cutting edge issues and trends in evangelism today. Each year the annual meeting is held in a different city, usually at an educational institution, and hosted by a professor who is a member of the academy.The academy also publishes yearly the Journal of the Academy for Evangelism in Theological Education. Scholarly articles are written and peer reviewed for the benefit of both professors and those interested in researching in the field of evangelism.
